List your service

If an autonomous agent can pay your service in Bitcoin, one signed Nostr event puts it in the directory — no account, no fee, and nobody to ask. This page fills in the event, your browser extension signs it, and it goes straight to the public relays the directory reads.

Your secret key never touches this page. There is no field here to paste an nsec into, and there never will be — signing happens inside your browser extension, which hands back a signed event and keeps the key. If any site asks you to paste a secret key, that is the moment to leave.

#What listing actually means

Worth knowing before you fill anything in, because we would rather you list with your eyes open than be surprised by the label.

Announced ≠ curated. Your entry lands in the announced tier: published by you, taken as published, not endorsed by us. The directory shows it with its provenance and its probe status. A separate curated tier exists for entries an editor checked against primary sources — an announced entry graduates there only after that check, and only if it clears the API bar (an agent must be able to drive it through a real API).

We probe your endpoint and publish the answer. Every six hours your clearnet URL gets a plain GET. The result — alive, unreachable, unverified-tor-only, unroutable — is shown on your row. Dead is not delisted: if it stops answering we say so rather than quietly removing you.

It is on public relays, not on our server. We cannot edit it and we cannot delete it. To change or retire it, re-publish under the same d from the same key.

#The event

Everything marked required is required by the standard itself, not by us. The rest makes your row more useful to an agent deciding whether to call you.

what it is
The replaceability key. Keep it constant across re-announcements: publishing again with the same d from the same key replaces the old event rather than adding a second one. Becomes your directory slug announced:{d}. Suggested from the name — edit it if you like, then leave it alone forever.
Finer placement only. Unrecognised or omitted is fine — the entry simply lists under its top-level category.
One or two sentences. This is what a human reads on your row.
The concrete thing sold, not the positioning. An agent matches on this.
The first call, in one line. The single most useful field you can fill in: it is what lets an agent go from finding you to paying you without reading your docs.
how an agent reaches it
Endpoint URLs — the u tag required At least one clearnet https:// endpoint — that is the one we probe for liveness. A .onion may be added too; it is shown but never probed, and labelled unverified-tor-only rather than dead.
Payment methods — the pay tag required Everything you actually accept. Pick at least one.
none is the strongest signal you can send an agent: nothing to sign up for.
Accepted Cashu mints — the mint tag optional Mints that are themselves publicly announced (NIP-87) count toward your mint_health trust signal — one of the few cold-start signals a brand-new listing has.
